How my project went over :)

I presented my project last class. Personally I think I did a pretty good job. Over all I think my presentation was clear, colourful and informative J I even added a little crossword puzzle that was extremely easy. I learned how to create a magazine cover using Microsoft publisher. I learned how to create boarders and different styles of backgrounds. What I learned from someone else’s presentation was there is other website building places (if that makes sense.) and that energy drinks speeds up your heart rate and that isn’t very good. (Several presentations say that). The overall outcome with doing these projects using technology was a very good idea and if we were to do another project in the future it would be a great idea to use this kind of technology.

My Presentation

For my presentation I’m doing a magazine filled with information on the Integumentary system, and how Organic make up is different then every day make up. I’ve learn lots about this topic and how the pores work to absorb the harmful chemicals in the make up, and how it's dangerous to wear certain types of make up. However it’s okay to wear make up, but it has to be washed off properly, and used in amounts that aren’t very harmful to your skin…
Im not saying that you shouldn’t wear make up but you should watch how much you put on your skin.

What skin is....

The skin is the largest organ in the integumentary system; it is an everlasting organ that makes new cells that rise to the surface, and replaces the old cells, the skin has many layers and acts like a major barrier against the environment. There are very few places on the body where either the skin is very thick or very thin. The thinnest skin on your body is your eye lids. Its .05mm thin, and the thickest skin is on your palms or sole, its about 1.5mm thick. There are 4-5 layers of skin on the human body, there is the: epidermis, Basement membrane zone, Dermis and the subcutaneous tissue.
The skin is able to absorb moister and hold water, it can also get rid of the water, there are sweat glands that help you get rid of the access water. In my opinion I think skin can be very interesting and it’s a really cool thing to learn about.
